Went couple of weeks back for a lates breakfast. Ordered their signature dish Crispy Onion Rava Dosa, Poori Chicken, Ghee Podi Idly. Their Rava dosa never disappoints me but somehow it did not meet my expectations. Will give a pass this time as most of the times it was good. Poori and chicken is decent so was Ghee podi Idly
The appetizers at Swadeshi Frisco are exceptional, especially the pepper chicken fry. The meat is incredibly tender and just melts in your mouth. The snacks are also delicious. This is a must-visit restaurant in Frisco for anyone looking for comforting, homestyle food.
We ordered popcorn chicken, sweets, tea, Hakka noodles, chicken fried rice, mango, chikoo lassi and chicken puffs. Everything tasted great. Took forever to get the noodles and fried rice. However it all tasted great! It’s a very busy place and lot of in and out. Gets a little overwhelming with so many people.
I ordered a full tray of goat biryani along with a few other items, and I was really disappointed — there weren’t even 10 pieces of meat in the entire tray. I called to share my concern, and they told me someone would call me back, but it’s been two days and I haven’t heard from anyone. This was really frustrating and embarrassing, especially for the price. If you’re considering ordering goat biryani from here, I’d strongly suggest skipping it. I’ve never ordered large trays of rice from them before, and after this experience, I definitely won’t be ordering again.
Went to Swadeshi today for some groceries and found they have a great collection of plants — gongura, rose, tulsi, and more. If you're looking for plants, it's worth a visit! After shopping, I tried their weekend special goat biryani at the restaurant — it was delicious! Perfect spot for both shopping and a good meal.
